About Us
Having been an avid bass fisherman for over 40 years, I've always been interested in lure design and modification. I've made my own baits for many years now and have experimented with many different types of finishes on hard baits.
Some baits, especially wood ones, can and do take some extra prep time to get them back to that "new" look, so pricing can vary. We do all we can to make our refinished baits look the very best possible including replacing hardware when necessary.
I do work for clients across the US and Canada and take great pride in every bait I refinish.
The following pages have a few samples of some bass bait and musky baits I've refinished. Please take the time to look them over.
I originally began refinishing lures as a result of my frustration with the poor quality of finishes on even the best factory baits. Eventually friends began asking me to refinish their baits as well. Using those experiences I started Demon Lures.
I use only the highest quality acrylic paints and finishes available. Each bait is carefully cleaned prepped and primed before airbrushing the colors on and hand brushing the clear coat. I use either a 2- part crystal clear epoxy finish or a single part urethane clear coat, depending on the type of finish desired.
